We had our most recent orientation class on Sunday Sept 22 with 10 members being updated to Shooter members. That makes a total of 26 for this year. Since the range opened in the spring of 2017 we have put 352 members through the class.
Our last orientation was on Saturday May 25th at 7:00 PM at the Senior's Hall.
As of that date, there have been 341 members through orientation. We are sitting at a current roster of 299 members.
Don Piper presented the targets that he was involved with designing for the BC Rifle Association's .22 caliber F-Class. Stay tuned for more details.
We also voted to use club funds to cover the extra costs associated with building a covered lunch area for use during competitions and events. The majority of the materials will be covered through donated funds. Lower North Thompson Community Forest Society donated timbers and money that will go towards trusses and roofing. Will Porter and Len will split the costs for the slab. Everything else will be covered by the club. Work days will be posted ahead of time on the calendar for anyone wishing to donate their time to the construction of the shelter.
