A reminder to club members, as we have been having issues with cleanliness of the shooting shelters and destruction of targets. We have had a second incident of someone placing a steel tipping target into a stationary stand. Please don't move range targets or use inappropriate calibers for the small swinging targets and ensure brass/empty ammo boxes are disposed of properly.
This is an excerpt from the applicable range policies:
21. Range Care and General Conduct
.2 Care should be used to prevent damage to target stands, shooter's benches, frames, lights or any other equipment due to careless or reckless use of firearms.
.7 Users are responsible for cleaning the range on conclusion of firing. All target materials shall be removed from the site or placed in the provided garbage containers. If moved, all shooting benches and target stands shall be returned to their original position. Each individual shall collect his empty cases and place them in a container provided for that purpose.
