Our annual wild game banquet was a great event. We had 99 seats available, and every single one was sold. The dinner prepared by Bob and Garry Sorenson and team was delicious. Live entertainment was provided by the MOB (Musicians of Barriere), a couple brave competitors showed off their moose calling, and we heard from the Barriere Trail Society and the upcoming ATV Club. There was a slideshow of previous events and range improvements as well as posters for this year's upcoming events. There was an impressive amount of donations for the silent auction. Kathy Campbell ran the 50/50 and silent auction. Bev Murphy did a great job of decorating the Lion's Hall and the Lion's Club ran the bar. The grads cleared the tables and did the dishes. George Smith and Gary Nelson ran the door and Thomas Hovenkamp set up the tables and chairs.
This event was a success because of the dedication of our members and community. It would not have been possible without the many volunteer hours, so a huge thank you to everyone that was involved!
