
The gun range is now closed to all shooting members until July 1st for cattle grazing. Please check the calendar and watch this site for updates. Barri-Loops shotgun event May 17th is not affected by this closure.
Early in the spring last year we started to plan a lunch shelter for our events at the gun range. With a very generous donation from the Lower North Thompson Community Forest Society, we started to look at designs. At the same time, we got word that Paradigm Panels in Louis Creek was looking for a local organization to donate the old fire monument structure.

With hard work and many volunteer hours, we formed and poured a slab at the range. We then carefully dismantled and transported the building components to the Gorman shooting range. We shortened the lower panels and moved them farther under the main panel to be within the allowed size for an outbuilding. Our next step is to clean up and re-stain the logs and add some board and batten to block so
There is active logging up Gorman Monday to Friday. Normally they will be done by 3PM, but just a reminder to members and guests to be extra vigilant on the forest service roads to the range.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the North Thompson Fish and Game Club can now purchase their memberships and renewals at the Horse Barn and Powder Keg. Please note that if you would like to become a shooting member of the club you still need to go through orientation. Fill out the form below for more membership information.
To encourage young people to become involved in hunting and fishing and to teach them the values of the outdoors, hoping they will continue to protect fish and game habitat, allowing future generations to enjoy these resources as we have.

We currently have steel targets at 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 550, 600 and 700 meters. The plan is to go out to 1600 meters. Covered shooting area with shooting benches and some reactive targets available.
Separated from long rifle range. 70 yds to the back berm. Plate racks and reactive targets are available with only small calibers allowed. Skeet towers are there as well. Pistol range is closed during sporting clay events, but open during long rifle events.
Sporting clays consists of 18 stations that weave through the range. Practice is sometimes held on Sundays. Pistol and Rifle ranges closed during sporting clay events. Skeet Towers are in the field at the pistol range. Check the calendar for practices and events.
Members meet on the 4th Monday of the month (except for July, August, and December). Check the calendar for updates and information. The annual fee for members is $100 or $110 for the family. Juniors are 20
